But that still left me with the task of making condensed milk. It’s been raining outside
and I am in no mood to venture out and get a fresh pack of full cream milk. So, I chose to make it using milk powder. I always keep some milk powder at home for my whole wheat cookies and breads.

Method:
- Mix milk powder, sugar and butter in a dry and clean jar of a mixer.
- Add the boiling water slowly and blend for 2-3 minutes till there are no lumps.
- Do not add the entire water in one go. Add after checking the consistency. Add water spoon by spoon while you are blending.

- Use it in your bakes and other sweets. Enjoy this yummy delicious treat.
Notes:
- Store in sterilized and dry glass container.
- Always use a dry and clean spoon to scoop it out.
- It will stay fresh for about a week.
- It will thicken further on refrigeration. So do not worry if it looks watery initially.
- If you want it mildly sweet especially for white chocolate fudge and other such recipes, add only 1 tablespoon of sugar. Or else you may use 2 tablespoon of sugar.
- With the above recipe, I got around 120-125 ml (200 grams) of condensed milk.
