“This was great! Really enjoyed it – thanks for sharing. I do agree with another commenter who said it was a bit sweet – I will definitely reduce the sugar next time (I used regular granulated sugar).

Can’t wait for leftovers tomorrow! :)”

Hi Pradeepa. hope you are well. well, this weekend i made a chocolate fudge cake with this recipe I found online : https://cafedelites.com/best-fudgy-chocolate-cake/ . I must say thanks to you that I now have confidence to try new things knowing my oven temperature is off by 20 degrees 🙂 . However, my cake didnt turn out to be as fudgy as they shown in the picture. it didnt raise that much too..but it was tasty and my husband loved it. it was soft but not as fudgy as I would have liked. I used the recipe to the T…lol my phone was covered in flour :)…can you please advice? I kept my oven 200 as I said, its off by 20 degrees..so that was 180 in normal ovens. is it true the more runny the mixture the more fudgier? I kept for 35 mins…should I have kept for less time:? i would rather hear from you than believe anyone else 🙂 thanks again for your encouragement..am so happy now –

hi, landed here searching egg less cake recipe, loved your recipes but problem is measures is in grams 🙁 if they are in cups too will be very nice

    • Pradeepa Nair says:

Please follow weight measurements. They are much more accurate than cup measurements. However a 240 ml cup will hold around 125 gm of apf/WWF, 200 gm of granulated sugar, 226 gm of butter etc. Now u can adjust accordingly. Good luck

    Hi ma’am
Can I bake vanilla muffins without choco chip following your vanilla chocochip recipie
Can u pls also suggest what will। be the cost for one muffin ,thanks in advance

  9. Charul says:

    1 cup means 250 gm normally…
    Bt u r saying 125gm.equal to 1 cup…
Dnt understand cn u plz explain

    • 1 cup is generally 240 ml of water. If u use solid things the weight will be different. For example, 1 cup maida is around 125 gm, I cup sugar is around 200 gm, 1 cup butter is around 226 gm. Hope it’s clear now
