Homemade Barbeque Sauce
I was browsing through some recipes a few days while I was planning to make a veg sizzler in my new sizzler pan. Accidentally, I stuck upon many recipes of Barbeque sauce. So, here is my version of the same. Feel free to make any variations. As I always say, no hard and fast rule, use whatever ingredients you have at home.
Ingredients:
- Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
- Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Onion powder 2 tsp
- Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp
- Worcestershire/Tabasco sauce 1 tbsp
- Brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt a pinch
- Mustard powder 1/2 tsp
- Water 1/4 cup
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients in a thick sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- Lower the flame and allow it to simmer till it is thick.
- Remove from stove and allow it to cool.
- Store in clean bottles.
- Use it as a dip or in your stir fries or fried rice or as a sauce in your veg sizzler.
- Adjust the ingredients as per your taste buds. I used a bit of Sriracha sauce too as I had a big bottle of it.

Hi. I have a post on making aappam by batter in my blog. If you use ready made packets, instructions will be on the packet, isn’t it? It’s very easy to make batter at home and much tastier than ready batter. Please let me know if you need any further information:)
