Coconut Chutney – 2

In a South Indian household, idli/dosa is a regular fare. So we keep looking for different chutneys and accompaniment to go along with it. Every family will have their own signature chutneys. I learnt to make this simple no-fuss chutney from my mom in law.
Ingredients:
- Fresh coconut 1/2 cup
- Green chillies 2-3 or more
- Shallots/Madras onions 7-8
- Curry leaves 1 sprig
- Coconut oil 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind scrapped coconut with the shallots, curry leaves and salt along with little water till its a fine paste.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp of fresh coconut oil on top and serve.
